Made my best looking loaf of bread yet. But when I placed it on the cooling rack it started to do something odd, it crackled. Just like a bowl of rice crispies. Anyone know why?

Another featured pig, the Mangalitsa.  A rare old world breed closely related to European wild boars.  I love the concept of raising pigs “free range” although the appropriate habitat for a pig is a forest, so maybe it can be called “free forest”.
